Lab Results
Every batch is tested
Each production batch is sent to an independent, accredited laboratory and tested for:
- Cannabinoid potency — confirming the THC, CBD and CBN content matches the label
- Pesticides
- Heavy metals
- Residual solvents
- Microbial contamination
Independent matters here: a Certificate of Analysis from a lab with no stake in the result is meaningfully different from an in-house number.
Finding the COA for your product
Where a Certificate of Analysis is published for a product, it is linked directly on that product's page under View Certificate of Analysis. Browse the full collection to find yours.
If you cannot find the report for your specific batch, email support@galacticjems.com with the batch number printed on your package and we will send it to you.
How to read a COA
Whether it is ours or anyone else's, four things are worth checking:
- Does the batch number match your package? A COA for a different batch tells you nothing about what you are holding.
- Does the potency match the label? Within a reasonable margin.
- Do the contaminant panels pass? Pesticides, heavy metals, solvents and microbials should each show a pass.
- Is the lab named, accredited, and the test recent?
Any brand reluctant to hand over a current COA is telling you something important.
